3. Social Interaction
We discover new things through interpersonal interactions. Have you ever tried solo travelling? I started more than five years ago in several local destinations in the country and more recently within Southeast Asia, relatively new but it has been a humbling and enlightening experience. When we interact with local people, we see how different lifestyles are and become thankful for all our blessings. I have learned to appreciate our deeply rooted traditions and uniqueness of our heritage. The simple task of exploring, getting directions, negotiating best prices also improve effective communication skills.
4. Cross Cultural Experience
We encounter other fellow travellers from different parts of the world.
Travelling gives us an unparalleled first hand experience of knowing about history, culture, outlook in so many facets of life.
5. Education and Personal Development
Experience, as they say, is the best teacher. And travelling lets one explore with all our senses, Travelling broadens the mind and develops a better understanding of the world.
